Training material

The international women Commission of MIJARC took the decision to publish small training materials for women groups and women commissions. We hoped that this material will allow the groups to reflect on their reality and, on the basis of the methodology of the movement « see-judge-act » to improve their situation in different levels. We hoped that the groups that used this material will also send their reflections and observations to the World Office of MIJARC so others can benefit and that we can improve this material.

1- Our reality: Our time and our roles

We would like to encourage women and men to think about their roles and specific tasks in family, work and in society in general. We propose some training material which is elaborated according to our method see-judge-act. This training material helps you and your group to reflect, to analyse and also to find appropriate actions.

It is helpful to print and to fold the material and then to follow the different steps.

2- Gender Diagnosis: Women and money

Money became a major element of our daily life.  In order to live, we need money and often we have great difficulty to find enough. We set up activities to generate incomes which enable us to improve our standard of living.

3- Gender Diagnosis: education and training

From the very moment we were born, and even in our mother’s womb, we have been learning lots of things. Our life as a woman or a man is an ongoing learning process. We learn to walk, to speak, to behave with others and later on, we go to school, we learn a profession. We are often unaware that we are learning, just like our parents are not aware of the things they teach us.
